At some point here in the near future, Motorola is probably going to announce its next big smartphone, the Moto Z4. Ahead of that unveiling, though, we’ve got our first look at the rumored specifications.

According to 91mobiles, the Moto Z4 is going to be a mid-range handset with a big display and solid-enough specs. That includes a 6.4-inch FHD OLED display, which will reportedly support an in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset will boast a waterdrop notch at the top of the screen, and it will support Moto Mods support (something we’ve heard in the past).

The front-facing camera will reportedly be 25 megapixels and boast a “Group Selfie” feature. Around back, there is a 48MP camera with Quad Pixel technology. That means the phone will automatically combine four different pixels into one large pixel to snap a 12MP photograph. Motorola will also reportedly be including a Night Vision mode for the rear camera, which will allow for better low-light photography.

The strange change comes under the hood, because the Z-lineup has been Motorola’s flagship for quite some time. As noted in the original report, the Moto Z4 will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, rather than an 800-series. Otherwise, the device will also feature a 3600mAh battery and a 3.5mm headphone jack for good measure.

No word on when Motorola might announce the Moto Z4, or when it will go on sale. The marketing material tied to the leak suggests the handset will cost “half the price” of a traditional flagship smartphone, so, the Moto Z4 could be pretty cheap all things considered.

What do you think of the Moto Z4?
