Moto E5 Revealed in New Image

The Moto E5 is one handset that Motorola has been working on for launch expected some time in early 2018.

And while the handset was initially leaked earlier this year, a far clearer image of the upcoming entry-level handset has been leaked online by way of Evan Blass on Twitter. The image shows the upcoming Moto E5 in a blue color, with a healthy dose of bezels flanking the display on all sides. There is no word on how big the display is, or any details released with the image, unfortunately.

We can see that Motorola is including a fingerprint reader in this version of the E5, though, right there on the back of the handset. The Motorola logo rests on top, which is a nice touch when aiming to consolidate features and branding. Thee is also a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top of the phone, and what appears to be a USB Type-C port on the bottom.

Unfortunately there aren’t a lot of rumors swirling around about the Moto E5. It has been suggested in the past that Motorola will be opting for a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor in this model, but no specific mention of which one. This is an entry-level handset, though, so set expectations accordingly.

Still, the Moto E5 looks pretty nice, especially for a handset that will probably have a price tag that won’t be too bad to look at. The Moto E4 Plus went for around $179.99 last year, so the Moto E5 will probably be priced around that benchmark.

What do you think of the Moto E5?
