Meizu has gone ahead and unveiled its latest flagship and iPhone clone — the MX4. While not exactly a Galaxy S5 or HTC One M8 competitor, the MX4 offers plenty of power and features for its price of only $299.
The handset comes with a 5.36-inch Full HD+ display that is barely surrounded with any bezel and features a very weird resolution of 1920 x 11152.

According to Meizu, the MX4 uses the second generation audio chip from NXP, which when combined with the new speaker design nearly doubles the speaker volume compared to its predecessor.
While technically the MX4 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, Meizu’s skin — Flyme OS 4.0 — is a blatant rip-off of Apple’s iOS. Some of its new features including a new voice personal assistant, 40TB of cloud storage space, a simpler and flatter UI and a new camera app with slow-motion video recording, panorama shots and more.
The handset is already up for pre-order for $299 for the 16GB variant with the device expected to be available from September 20th.
