Over the last few hours, a lot of details about LG’s upcoming flagship — the G3 — have leaked online including the device making a public appearance in a metro ride in Korea. The phone was being used by one of the travellers donning its Quick Cover case.

Apart from this, @evleaks also confirmed that the mystery sensor at the back of the G3 is a laser auto-focus sensor, as indicated by the previous leak from the folks over at GSMArena.

Some form of lasers are used in digital cameras to allow for quicker auto-focus and it looks like LG is doing the same thing here. It is also possible that the company might use this laser sensor to add bokeh and other depth based effects to the images taken from the G3, just like on the HTC One M8.

Finally, @evleaks also posted a multi-angle press render of the titanium black version of the G3, showing off its front, back and sides.

With just over a couple of weeks left for LG to officially unveil the G3, expect more leaks of the handset to surface online.
