What you’re looking at above and below are photos of the glass panel that will make up the face of Motorola’s upcoming Moto X. It’s believed that the Moto X will have a 4.7 inch 720p screen, quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro (not 600?), and a 10 megapixel camera. The source of the leaks is G For Games, who has proven to be reliable in the past.

Now for the important question: When will this thing be announced? There was a rumor floating around the internet a few days ago that said there would be a private Moto X unveiling to a select group of journalists on the 11th of July. I can confirm that said rumor is total BS. My colleagues at Engadget reached out to the appropriate parties, and we got absolute confirmation that this upcoming Motorola event has nothing to do with the Moto X.

So again, when will we know about this thing? Motorola themselves have said they want the Moto X to be on sale in October. That means a launch is due within the next 100 days. Sorry I can’t be more specific, but to me, 100 days is a good enough range.
