The LG G3 was officially unveiled by the company in London on May 27, 2014. It is the first device from a major manufacturer with a 2560 x 1440 Quad HD 5.5″ IPS LCD, all in a slim body with as little bezel as possible. LG kept its signature Rear Key design, with all buttons placed below the 13MP OIS+ Camera. Another new feature introduced with the G3 is the Laser Autofocus that helps detect the distance from objects and focus faster while taking photos. The G3 runs on a Snapdragon 801 processor, and comes in two memory configurations with 16GB internal/2GB RAM and 32GB internal /3GB RAM, both with a microSD card slot. All of that tech is powered by a removable 3000 mAh battery.
Two other significant features of the G3 include its plastic body made with a beautiful brushed metallic finish, and LG’s redesigned Android interface with notable additions: Smart Keyboard, Smart Security, and Smart Notice.
