Huawei is going to announce new phones on March 27, and one of them is probably going to boast a trio of cameras on the back.

Before that day rolls around, though, the rumor mill has to work through its own revelations. As such, Android Authority managed to get their hands on what they are calling a prototype for the Huawei P20. This is, if the rumors are true, the middle of the pack when it comes to the new additions Huawei is planning for the late-March debut, with the P20 Lite at the bottom of ladder and the P20 Plus at the top.

The P20 prototype does confirm that the handset will have only a pair of cameras on the back, and that Huawei may feature two speakers on the bottom of the handset. That would be a change from the P10, which only had one speaker on the bottom.

Perhaps one of the more intriguing elements of the prototype may be the volume key, though. The publication notes that while the Power button is on the right side of the phone, there aren’t any physical buttons for changing the phone’s volume. Instead there are a pair of touch indicators, which may hint that the P20 is going to boast a “virtual volume key”.

Or it could be just an unfinished element of the prototype.

If this leak is a glimpse at the future, then it stands to reason that the P20 Lite is going to have a single camera on the back, the P20 will have a pair of cameras, and the P20 Plus will be the model to show off three cameras on the back.

Are you getting excited about the P20 lineup?
