Huawei today put the ‘special’ Gold variant of the Nexus 6P in India with 64GB of internal storage for pre-order on Flipkart. Compared to other variants of the handset, the special edition Nexus 6P has been priced slightly higher by Rs. 1,000 ($15) at Rs. 43,999.
While other variants of the Nexus 6P are also available for sale through offline stores, the special edition Nexus 6P will be available exclusively through Flipkart. Huawei is also bundling a free back cover with the handset.
Additionally, to celebrate their Big App Shopping Days, Flipkart is offering a flat Rs. 2,000 off on the 32GB and 64GB variants of the Nexus 6P. This effectively reduces the price of the 32GB variant to Rs. 37,999 and the 64GB variant to Rs. 40,999. Flipkart is also giving Rs. 3,000 in store credits that can be used on the website between Feb 1-5, 2016.
Lastly, you can get an additional discount of 10% (up to a maximum of Rs. 1750) if you purchase the handset via a Standard Chartered or Citi bank credit card. There are quite a few other offers that you can available provided you buy the handset using Flipkart’s mobile app.
The gold Nexus 6P was up until now only available for sale in Japan. With the Nexus 6P selling like hot cakes in India, its not a surprise that Huawei is offering tempting offers on the device and launching special editions.
