HTC is expected to unveil the successor to the HTC One sometime in a few weeks from now. The handset has made quite a few blurrycam appearances showing off its dual-rear camera and on-screen navigation keys in the front. Today, thanks to M Helal, we now have a few clear shots of the One (M8) or its smaller sibling — the M8 mini.

The images show off what has been leaked previously — a design similar to the current gen One, dual cameras and LED flash at the back and on-screen navigation keys in the front. The images have also been confirmed to be real by @shen_ye, known for his closeness with HTC. He also stated that the M8 is going to come in five different colors and will include a microSD card slot as well.

M Helal also posted some specs of the device – a 4.7-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon S800 processor and 2GB of RAM. However, some of this information does not match with what we have heard earlier, especially the screen being only 4.7-inch instead of the rumored 5-inch one. It might be possible that the device in the above images is the HTC M8 mini and not the M8 itself, as pointed out in this Reddit discussion.
