Galaxy S6 case leak

While the HTC One M9 leaks are making their way to the Internet every other day, the Galaxy S6 has been pretty camera shy with absolutely no key design detail of the device being leak.

Today though, the folks over at Nowhereelse.fr have managed to get their hands on some schematics for a Galaxy S6 case that provides us with some details about the design and dimensions of the Korean company’s upcoming flagship.

According to the leak, the Galaxy S6 will have a dimension of 143.52mm x 70.70mm x 7.19mm, which is taller, wider and slimmer than its predecessor.

The case schematics also suggest that Samsung will be moving the camera flash and the heart rate monitor to the right edge of the camera. On the Galaxy S5, the sensor and the LED flash were located just below the camera.

The cutouts on the top of the case indicate that Samsung will be placing the IR blaster and the 3.5mm audio jack at the top. The bottom of the case, however, has three big holes. While one of them is required for the microUSB slot, it is unclear as to why the other two slots exist. It is possible that the cutouts are for bottom facing stereo speakers that Samsung might use on the Galaxy S6.

With Samsung’s profit and market share rapidly declining due to heavy competition and the lack of innovative new features, a lot is riding on the Galaxy S6 for the Korean company.
