Facebook is going to hold an event on April 4th. That’s tomorrow. The invite, which was sent to several media outlets, including Engadget, says “Come See Our New Home on Android”.

At first, people thought it was going to be nothing more than a replacement Android launcher. Basically an app that you’d install that would take over your home screen. But then, thanks a leak from Android Police, the internet started to believe that the “Facebook Phone” was indeed real. The site says the device is codenamed Myst, it’s made by HTC, it has a 4.3 inch 720p screen, and a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4.

As the old online saying goes, pictures or shenanigans, which brings us to the anonymous Twitter user @evleaks. He or she has managed to secure a photo of the HTC Myst, which apparently will be called the “HTC First”. Kind of funny when you think about it. Google started selling devices with the “Nexus One”, and now Facebook is going to enter the game with the “First”.

So what can you expect on Thursday? Frankly, I don’t know. Anyone can show off a piece of plastic on stage. Is Facebook going to announce an operator deal? An international roll out? Pricing? Will Facebook bring the “First’s” features to other Android phones? What about the iPhone?

In roughly 31 hours, many of those questions will be answered.
