Besides unveiling the Desire Eye and the RE Camera, HTC also announced that a number of its existing devices will be getting a software update bringing the “HTC Eye Experience” to them.
The list of devices that will get the update are as follows:
- HTC One M8
- HTC One M7
- HTC One E8
- HTC One mini 2
- HTC One Max
- HTC Butterfly 2
- HTC Desire 816
- HTC Desire 820
The update will add some new camera features to handsets including an advanced face tracking algorithm, Photo Booth, Crop Me In, Voice Selfie, Live Makeup, Split Capture and more.
HTC, however, did not provide any estimated timeframe as to when the update will arrive except for saying that it will arrive “in the coming months.”
