CREO Mark 1 Launched in India with Helio X10 Chipset, 21MP Camera, and FuelOS

CREO, a new smartphone brand, today launched its first smartphone in India: the Mark 1. The impressive handset packs in plenty of punch under its hood and its unique FuelOS that brings some novel new features to the table.

First, lets talk about the specs: the Creo Mark 1 features a 5.5-inch Quad HD display on the front that is protected by a 2.5D curved glass at the front. Below the display sits the capacitive navigation key, with the top housing an 8MP selfie shooter with a wide-angle 85-degree lens.

Under the hood is MediaTek’s octa-core Helio X10 chipset clocked at 1.95GHz, 3GB RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. There is also a microSD card slot that can accept cards of up to 128GB. Powering all this is a 3,100mAh battery.

At the rear of the Mark 1 sits a 21MP shooter that is capable of recording 4K videos and slow-motion videos in Full HD resolution at up to 120fps.
Fuel-OS

The highlight of the Mark 1 is its impressive software that the company is calling FuelOS. It comes with novel new features like Echo, a voicemail-like system that can automatically take calls for you and store the message from the other party, so that you can listen to it later. The feature is network independent, is free to use, and messages are stored locally for privacy purposes. Other features of FuelOS include a notification manager, lockscreen gestures, smart inbox for your messages, and more.

CREO also promises that it will be rolling out monthly software updates for the Mark 1 with new features and bug fixes. Every OTA update will have its own rating, so owners of the Mark 1 will be able to rate and share their experience with it directly with the company.

The CREO Mark 1 will be available through Flipkart.com for Rs. 19,999. The company already boasts of over 106 support centres in 96 cities, and offers pick and drop service in 15 of the top cities in India.
