Looking to buy the HTC One M8 for cheap? Today is your lucky day then. The Taiwanese OEM is offering the handset for only $299 under its HTC Hot Deals program in the United States. 

This is for the unlocked variant of the handset that comes without any carrier contracts or a locked down bootloader. The offer, however, is only valid for the first 200 customers so you better be quick. The offer is slated to go live at 12PM EST/9AM PST so make sure to set a reminder on your phone if you don’t want to miss the deal.

If you somehow do, HTC will still be offering the One M8 for $499 while its supplies last for today as well. While not as sweet at $299, this is still a pretty sweet deal for one of the best Android handsets to be released this year.

The Taiwanese OEM had offered the Nexus 9 last week on Tuesday for only $199 — just a day after it went on sale to the public for $399.
