The OnePlus 5 went on sale late last month in most markets of the world. While OnePlus could have charged a fair bit of premium for the cases due to their design and build, it has priced them at a reasonable $19.95.

The OnePlus 5 Silicone case makes it to the list only because of its color. The OnePlus 5 already looks a lot like the iPhone 7 Plus and if you want to give the phone a dash of Product(RED), the red silicone protective case is going to be the perfect fit for the job. While the case is also available in black, it is the bright red finish that will turn heads and catch the attention of people around you.
The silicone case is not as slim as the protective case from OnePlus but it makes up for it by offering more protection.
Otterbox Case
If you want a more protective (and thicker) case for your OnePlus 5, the Otterbox case is worth a look. Featuring a dual-layer design, the design of the case allows it to easily absorb drops and shocks to ensure optimum protection for your phone. The inner shell is made of silicone, while the outer shell is made of hard plastic.
The case, however, is not compatible with the official 3D tempered screen protect from OnePlus for the 5, which might be a bummer for many.

OnePlus 5 Flip Cover
If you want a simple no-frills flip cover for your OnePlus 5 that also has a card slot, the official OnePlus 5 Flip Cover has you covered. Available in black and white colors, the case comes with Smart Wake functionality so the display of your 5 will automatically wake up when you open the case and vice versa.
The case is made from PU leather thereby giving it a very premium look and feel. While it also covers the phone from almost every possible angle, it does end up adding significant bulk to it as well.
At $19.95, the flip cover is quite a fair bit cheaper than other official cases for the OnePlus 5.
Dbrand Skin
If like me, you are not a big fan of cases, you can slap a Dbrand skin on that metal back of the 5. Dbrand’s 3M skins are considered to be among the best in business and are available in a bunch of colors and finish. You can skin not only the rear of the device but also the front if you want to. The skin might not be enough to save your 5 from dents due to falls but it will still offer more than ample protection from scuffs and dents during regular use.
