‘s new X wer packs in the juice with a 4,100 mAh battery

is making a pitch to those who feel they’re too often tied to the wall to recharge their smartphone. 

The X wer is the leader of a forthcoming series of X-bred phones, packing in an impressive 4,100 mAh battery. By comparison, the Galaxy S7 ge offers a 3,600 mAh battery. also says it will charge at twice the speed of other phones.

The phone is part of a series of four: X wer, X Mach, X Style, X Max.

The X Mach supports the E Cat 9 3CA stard, which can produce faster downloads. Not all networks are ready to support it, however. The phone also has a “gently curved form factor,” according to . 

The X Style has “gracefully curving lines extra-slim body” for those that are, well, style conscious. The X Max also has a “large display,” although didn’t offer any specific details about the size.

The G line is ’s flagship models, so expect the X line to start first in Asia Europe, though it wouldn’t be completely surprising if they ended up in the U.S. at some point.

y this matters: Battery life is an existential struggle. If nothing else, has shown that you can pack a much bigger battery into a slim smartphone package. Often times one company’s innovation will trickle down to other manufacturers, so don’t be surprised if you see batteries creep up into the 4,100 mAh range soon.
