Android device updates: HTC 10 is getting stability fixes preview 3 is headed to Android N

You can forgive software teams everywhere for being a little distracted this week by all the news coming out of I/O. ly, we’re still trying to get the taste of the terrible hot dogs sad French fries out of our mouth. 

But that doesn’t means there are no updates to be had. Most are minor, but every little bit counts.

Each week, we compile all the major software updates to hit the Android ecosystem, including phones tablets on U.S. carriers, unlocked phones, Android ar smartwatches, Android TV devices. Making sure your device is running the latest available software is a good housekeeping practice, ensuring you have the latest features with fewer bugs gaping security holes.

HTC

HTC 10: This phone is relatively new to the wild, but there’s already a software update that improves camera performance, -Fi stability, fixes other bugs. HTC says you should connect to -Fi expect at least 20 minutes for the update process.

HTC 10, One A9, One M9: Android N is on everyone’s mind this week, so HTC took the opportunity to announce on Twitter that Android N will make its way to these three phones.

The final version is supposed to be available later this year, HTC has a pretty good track record of pushing out updates. So if this is your phone, definitely stay tuned.
