Motorola doesn’t want you to fret about Stagefright, even if you’re holding on to one of its older phones. The company detailed its pledge Monday to patch all its current future devices..
The Moto X Style (which will sell in the U.S. as the Moto X re ition) Moto X ay will already have the fixes when they go on sale. Initial shipments of the third-generation Moto G won’t have the patch in “some regions,” but Motorola says they’ll get the update soon.
Fortunately, Motorola said all its devices sold from 2013 on will get a fix for the vulnerability. Here’s the full list:

- Moto Maxx/Turbo
- Moto G (1st Gen, 2nd Gen, 3rd Gen)

- Droid Turbo
- Droid Ultra, Mini, Maxx

Motorola will sell the new Moto G X direct to consumers, so the carriers won’t be able to slow down any future software updates or security patches.
