Back in early October, Chris Lacy – the developer of Action Launcher Pro – released the first beta of the v2.0 update for the launcher that included a couple of new features. Now, after 2 months of numerous beta releases, he has released the final version of the app on the Play Store.

The v2.0 update of Action Launcher Pro brings a host of new and unique features, enhancements and a (temporarily) lowered price tag. The highlight of this update, undoubtedly, are Quickpage and 1-Swipe cover, which allow quick access to apps from anywhere in the OS.

Below is a quick video of these features in action -:

• Action Launcher no longer requires a purchase, and is available for everyone to use!

• Quickpage: a fully featured home screen accessible from the right edge of the screen.
• 1-Swipe: access the Quickdrawer and Quickpage from any app on your device, whether Action Launcher is running or not.
• Use Android 4.4’s dock and folder style.
• Translucent status and navigation bars (requires Android 4.4).
• Activity picker.
• A wealth of bug fixes and optimizations.
The developer has also decided to release a free version of the launcher, with the paid version now acting as an unlocker for all the new features added above.
The paid version is currently on sale at $1.99, making it the perfect time to purchase it as well.
