Android finally caught up with iOS by allowing developers to hand out app promo codes. They’re an easy way to generate interest for an app launch, offer a copy to reviewers, or do some generous sharing. To redeem an app promo code on your Android phone or tablet, you should first copy and paste the code from Twitter, email, or wherever else it was sent from. Then launch the Play Store, and open the slide out of the menu. Next, scroll down to Redeem.
A new Redeem tab is ready for your promo codes in the Play Store.
Then, paste in the promo code.
Paste in your code your new app will be all yours.
After you do this, your app will download to your phone or tablet. If you’d instead redeem the code on the desktop. Click the Redeem tab on the left of the Play Store home screen. Then type or paste your code.
