Xiaomi Mi A3 Launched with 6-Inch HD+ Display, Triple Rear Camera, In-Display Fingerprint Sensor

Xiaomi has added yet another Android One device to its portfolio by launching Mi A3. The Mi A3 arrives with updated hardware as compared to its predecessor. As expected, the Mi A3 is a rebranded version of Mi CC9e which was launched in China earlier this month.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 comes equipped with a 6.08-inch HD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 and a waterdrop notch. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood lies Snapdragon 665 paired with 4GB of RAM. On the storage front, the Mi A3 is offered in 64GB/1228GB variant both of which are expandable via microSD card slot. Also present is an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Imaging options on the Mi A3 include a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with 118-degree wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth-sensing sensor. The front camera shapes up in the form of a 32-megapixel sensor.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 runs Android 9 Pie out of the box and is backed by 4,030mAh battery. Furthermore, the device supports charging speeds of up to 18W. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, USB Type-C, and Bluetooth 5.0. Moving on, the Xiaomi Mi A3 64GB is priced at EUR 249 ($279) while the 128GB storage variant is priced at EUR 279 ($313). The device is available in Blue, White and Grey colors.

As of now, Xiaomi has not announced the availability of Mi A3 outside Europe. As of now the phone is available in Spain and is likely to launch soon in the rest of Europe.
