Verizon’s Nexus 6 has been a long time coming for Verizon subscribers wanting to get the big smartphone running the latest version of Android 5.0.

At the beginning of February it was confirmed that Big Red’s branded version of the Nexus 6 was coming soon, but while that was a good placeholder, and actual date hadn’t been provided. That hasn’t really changed just yet, even with a demonstration video that was published by Verizon Wireless. According to the video, the Nexus 6 was actually supposed to launch today, but that obviously didn’t happen.

For those who are still looking for a release date, though, Droid-Life is reporting that the new launch date for the Nexus 6 is March 12, and that it will be available for $249.99 on a new, two-year contract.

Unfortunately, while this was being written, it looks like Verizon pulled the video.

Are you planning on picking up a Nexus 6 on Verizon?
