Following the series of tests and pre-release procedures, HTC has gone through the steps to upgrade the unlocked HTC 10 flagship smartphone.

The manufacturer recently confirmed that the flagship device will begin its Android 7.0 Nougat rollout on Friday, November 25. A nice holiday bonus for owners of the handset that officially launched earlier this year. But, that’s not all the good news HTC has in store.

The company also confirmed its plans for the Android 7.0 Nougat update for its other devices. That includes the carrier variant of the HTC 10, which is scheduled to get its Android 7.0 update in the early part of 2017. The same release schedule is set up for HTC’s One M9. Unfortunately HTC couldn’t provide an exact date just yet.

It usually takes a bit longer for the carrier updates to be confirmed and rolled out, due to more tests needed, but it’s good to see HTC setting the stage at least.
