Energizer is going to have a big presence at Mobile World Congress this year, both in the devices themselves and the sheer number of them.

The company has already confirmed it is going to show off 26 different Android phones at this year’s event. That’s a considerably larger number than every other company. And the first of the bunch to get some hands-on time is the Power Max P18K. The handset has a 6.2-inch display, which isn’t remarkable on its own, but when you consider that it sits atop an 18,000mAh battery, well, the package certainly perks an eyebrow.

The Power Max P18K measures in at 18mm thick, and it looks the part, too. The Galaxy S10? That phone is 7.8mm thick. That huge battery means you can get 50 days of standby time, or two days of video playback. Over USB-C and thanks to the 18W charger, Energizer says you can recharge the phone in about two hours.

How are the other specs? That 6.2-inch display has a resolution of 2280×1080, there is a Mediatek Helio P70 8-core 2.0GHz processor under the hood, and 6GB of RAM. It features three rear cameras (12MP/5MP/2MP), and a pair of front-facing pop-up cameras (16MP/2MP). It features 128GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot (up to 128GB), Android 9.0 Pie, and dual SIM support.

Energizer says it will launch in June of this year. When it does arrive, it will cost €600 (~$682 USD).

The company obviously doesn’t care about making a thin phone, but at 18mm thick it might be too big to actually be worthwhile as a daily driver. Then again, that 18,000mAh battery may make it exactly what some folks are looking for. What do you think?
