Now that Samsung’s new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are official, you’re probably all wondering how much they’re going to cost you when they go on sale on April 10. According to company officials at MWC in Barcelona, you can expect them to start at €699 and €849 respectively in Europe.

“We’ve heard rumors of the prices for the two handsets in the past, and now we have the official price tags right from Samsung officials here at MWC,” SamMobile reports. Here’s what you can expect the devices to cost if you live in Europe:

  • Galaxy S6 32GB — €699 (approx. £509/$784)
  • Galaxy S6 64GB — €799 (approx. £581/$896)
  • Galaxy S6 128GB — €899 (approx. £654/$1,008)
  • Galaxy S6 Edge 32GB — €849 (approx. £618/$952)
  • Galaxy S6 Edge 64GB — €949 (approx. £691/$1,064)
  • Galaxy S6 Edge 128GB — €1,049 (approx. £763/$1,177)

It’s worth noting that the U.K. and U.S. prices listed above are simply conversions of the European prices obtained by SamMobile, so they’re not completely accurate — but they should give you an idea of what you will be paying.

It’s also worth noting that the European prices will include sales tax, whereas the final U.S. prices won’t, so you can expect them to be lower.

Galaxy S6 Edge pricing certainly seems steeper than what you might expect to pay for a flagship phone, but based on Samsung’s pricing for the Galaxy Note Edge, they’re not quite as high as I was anticipating. The Galaxy S6, on the other hand, seems about average.

We expect Samsung to confirm prices for the U.K., the U.S. and other countries closer to the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge launch on April 10.
