OnePlus is rolling out the OxygenOS 9.5.7 update for the OnePlus 7 Pro that apart from fixing the ghost touch issue also aims to improve its camera performance. The update is currently being rolled out in batches so it might not show up instantly for everyone. However, if you cannot wait, follow the steps in this guide to sideload the OxygenOS 9.5.7 update on your OnePlus 7 Pro right away.

Right now, the update is only available for the EU build of the OnePlus 7 Pro. The US version of the update is not yet out. There are quite a few ways via which you can get the OxygenOS 9.5.7 update on your OnePlus 7 Pro right away. Follow the one that you prefer.

Install OxygenOS 9.5.7 Update on OnePlus 7 Pro

Method 1

Step 1: Download the entire OxygenOS 9.5.7 zip file from here. Transfer it to the internal storage of your phone.

Step 2: Go to Settings -> System -> System updates. Tap the Settings icon located on the top-right corner and select Local upgrade.

Step 3: Select the zip file you moved to the internal storage of your OnePlus 7 Pro in Step 1. The file will be verified and the installation process should then automatically start.

Method 2

Download the Oxygen Updater app from Google Play on your OnePlus 7 Pro. Open the app and it should show the OxygenOS 9.5.7 update. Proceed to download it and the app will do the rest for you.

As I mentioned above, the update is only available for the EU ROM of the OnePlus 7 Pro. If you own the US/T-Mobile variant of the OnePlus 7 Pro, you cannot sideload this update. If you cannot wait, there’s always the option that you flash the international ROM on your US OnePlus 7 Pro. That way you will be able to install the updates for the international ROM on your phone without any issues.
