The CyanogenMod team today announced that it has officially started rolling out nightly builds of CyanogenMod 14.1 based on Android 7.1 Nougat. The team has skipped releasing official nightly builds of CM14 based on Android 7.0 this time around.

The team notes that since these are very early builds of CM14.1, some key features and customization options like Themes are not available just yet. However, they are working on adding them back to the ROM. It also notes that “CM is returning to its community-driven roots and there are endless ways to help out.”

For now, the official CM14.1 nightly builds are available for the following devices:

  • angler (Nexus 6P)
  • bullhead (Nexus 5X)
  • cancro (Xiaomi Mi3w/Mi4)
  • d855 (LG G3)
  • falcon/peregrine/thea/titan (Moto G variants)
  • h811/h815 (LG G4)
  • klte/kltedv/kltespr/klteusc/kltevzw (Samsung Galaxy S5)
  • oneplus3 (OnePlus 3)
  • Z00L/Z00T (Zenphone 2)

The list of supported devices will expand over the coming days and weeks, with many of your favorite features currently missing from the ROM being reintroduced as well.

If you do end up installing CM14.1 on your Android device, make sure to report any bugs that you come across to the team. You can download the official CM14.1 nightly build for your supported device from here.
