HTC is still a few months away from launching the successor of the One M8, but the specs of the handset have already made its way to the Internet.

The leak comes courtesy of @upleaks, who has revealed the full internal specification of HTC’s upcoming flagship — codenamed Hima. The handset will feature a 5-inch Full HD display, and will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor comprising of four high performance Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2GHz and four low-powered A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz.

Hima will also sport 3GB RAM and support VoLTE/ Cat.6 LTE networks. It will also feature a 2840mAh battery, and will be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 on top of it.

Interestingly though, @upleaks says that the next-generation HTC One will feature either a 13MP or a 4MP UltraPixel camera in the front, with a 20.7MP shooter found in the rear. HTC has been widely criticised for its ‘UltraPixel’ camera module found on the M7 and M8, and it looks like the company is finally ready to ditch them for something that performs well in a wide variety of lighting conditions.

@upleaks also indicates that HTC is working on some cheaper variant of the Hima, including a Dual-SIM variant slated for China.

Like the One M8, Hima will also be making its way to all the major carriers in the United States. The handset is apparently slated to launch in March 2015, with HTC only announcing some Desire handsets at MWC next year.
