Launched in February of this year, the HTC One has proven to be one of the most beautiful Android phones to have ever graced store shelves. Unfortunately, people aren’t buying them in the numbers that HTC had hoped they would, and it looks like that’s causing the company to implode. Anyway, phone makers being phone makers, they want to create a portfolio of products. We’ve already seen the HTC One mini for those who prefer smaller handsets, but what about people who want something a bit bigger?

Here’s where the HTC T6 comes in. It’s a 5.9 inch version of the HTC One that’s been leaked so many times that I’ve lost count. According to @evleaks, the final name of the device will be the HTC One Max, and he says it’ll come to the United States via Sprint. Besides the larger screen (and presumably larger battery), what else will the One Max have compared to the regular One?

If the leaked images are to be believed, and I see no reason why they shouldn’t, then the Max will have a fingerprint scanner like the Apple iPhone 5s. Unlike the 5s, however, the Max will have the scanner on the back of the device, which might make for some awkward unlocking.

As for when HTC will officially unveil the Max, rumors say October.
