Laura Chen, an analyst at BNP Paribas Securities Taiwan, told Focus Taiwan that the company is starting to look healthy again. She also spilled the beans on some key product launches.

Starting with the M4, which is just a codename by the way, it’ll launch next month. You can best think of the M4 as an HTC One with a smaller screen. We’ve already seen an image of it (above) leak thanks to @evleaks.

Next up is a new Butterfly, due for a launch in early Q3. The Butterfly, for those who don’t remember, was one of the first phones to ship with a 5 inch 1080p screen. It was HTC’s flagship device for barely five months, being swiftly replaced by the One. HTC confirmed they’re working on a new Butterfly back in March, though they didn’t elaborate on what will change in this new model.

And finally, let me quote this so I don’t screw it up:

“The Taoyuan-based smartphone maker also plans to introduce a new flagship product with a larger screen size of up to 5.9 inches and an upgraded processor.”

Where have we heard about this before? Oh right, just two days ago with the leaked T6 codename. And as for “upgraded processor”, considering that the current HTC flagship has a Snapdragon 600, I’m thinking this device will have a Snapdragon 800, though that’s just speculation on my part.

And that’s it. Laura says “the worst is now over” for HTC, and I hope she’s right.
