Either intentionally or accidentally, HTC has just revealed its latest phablet for China: the One E9+, and is the first device from the Taiwanese OEM to come with a Quad HD display.
Apart from the 5.5-inch QHD display, the E9+ is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6795M chipset, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, dual Nano SIM card slots, multi-mode LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi and a 2800mAh battery. The 7.49mm thin handset also houses a 4MP UltraPixel sensor in the front and a 20MP shooter in the rear.
Just like the M9, the E9+ comes with a metal body and “cutting-edge” design. HTC’s signature BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio and Sense 7 are also present on the handset.
It is unclear when the E9+ will go on sale or how much it will cost, but it is likely that HTC will reveal all those details at its upcoming event on April 8 in Beijing.
