According to Focus Taiwan, HTC is currently experiencing brisk sales of the HTC One. So much so that the company is going to double their production capacity. I normally tend to shy away from these type of stories since I like hard numbers, numbers like “500,000 units per month”.

But then I scrolled down and found this key quote:

The company also plans to release updates for the Butterfly by the end of this month, enabling several built-in software features that are on the new HTC One, such as the Sense 5.0 user interface, the BlinkFeed live-streaming home screen and the slide show function for the camera, Tong said.

Tong being Jack Tong, president of HTC North Asia. I’ve always liked the HTC Butterfly whenever I had a chance to play with one, and I know quite a few people who bought one since it was one of the first devices to hit the market with a 1080p screen.
