Fitness tracking is a big market these days, which is why Google Fit’s announcement at the most recent I/O event wasn’t that big of a surprise. Now, several months later, the app is officially available.

Google has launched their fitness-and-health tracking app into the Google Play Store. The app is exactly what Google announced earlier in 2014, with the platform being used through a specific app to track several different data points, including walking, running, cycling and more. The application will also let users set a goal either through duration or steps, and check how it’s going throughout the day.

The app will also serve up recommendations for staying healthy based on your performance. It’s compatible with all Android Wear devices, as well as Android-based smartphones that are running Android 4.0 and up. It’s available for free, right now, and you can find it through the source link below.
