The Russian website Hi-Tech just leaked a brand new Galaxy phone, the Core. From the front it looks like a GS4. From the sides it looks like a GS3. And the back shares design elements from both devices.
What about the specs? You can expect a 4.3 inch 800 x 480 pixel resolution screen, dual core 1.2 GHz processor, 768 MB of RAM, 5 megapixel camera, and it runs Android 4.1 instead of Android 4.2.
When will it come out and how much will it cost? Next month, in Russia, for about $420.
Should you buy it? No way! That same amount of money will buy you a Samsung Galaxy S II Plus. Same size screen, same processor, more RAM, more megapixels, and, this is subjective, a cleaner looking design. That same amount of money will also buy you a Galaxy S III Mini, which granted, is a smaller device, but it’s stil highly capable.
