A few days ago, tragic news surfaced when it was discovered that Fenix, one of the most popular third-party Twitter clients for Android, had reached its token limit.

And, after reaching its token limit, Fenix was promptly pulled from the Google Play Store, as it meant that no other new users would be joining the Fenix ranks. It also meant that developer mvilla wouldn’t be able to make any additional money from the app they had developed.

Well, turns out that Twitter has decided to grant its good graces upon Fenix, as the developer has announced that Fenix has made its triumphant return to the Play Store. When asked what happened, and how it was resolved, mvilla was only able to say that they had “been in contact with the Twitter team and they’ve helped to fix the issue.”

So, it remains a mystery what Twitter did to help Fenix, but whatever the resolution was, it’s just good to see Fenix be returned to where it belongs.
