HTC’s One, gorgeous as it may be, comes in only a handful of colors. There’s silver, black, more recently red, and now blue. The blue variant has been rumored for ages, and a render that the UK website Pocket-lint made ended up going viral, but no one has actually seen a blue HTC One in person. Today that changes. Kind of.

The Taiwanese site ePrice has scored a photo of a blue HTC One body. Photo as in singular. There’s just one. They have no idea when it’ll actually come out, but I’d like to venture a guess. Rumor has it that HTC is going to announce a 5.9 inch version of the One in late September or early October. That means the company is going to be forgotten while the rest of the world talks about the new iPhones, the Galaxy Note III, and the Galaxy Gear smartwatch.

So HTC, if they’re thinking strategically, might announce this blue One during mid-September as a way to get people talking about the One again. Whether or not that plan will work is a different story, but it’s worth a shot.
