The LG Nexus 5 is an OK phone. Some might even call it a great phone. But the farther of the Nexus 5, the LG G2, is an even better device. The screen is larger, brighter, and more accurate. The camera is a million times better. The battery is gigantic. And while yes, the software leaves a lot to be desired, in terms of hardware, the G2 kicks the Nexus 5 square in the pants. Trust me on this, LG invited me out to lunch a few weeks ago and I got to spend more than hour with each of the two mentioned devices.

Sadly, there’s a small issue, and that’s that the Nexus 5 costs significantly less than the G2. Well, Amazon UK has just solved that problem. They’re selling the G2 for an incredible 360 British pounds. And since the UK is in the EU (kind of), anyone in Europe can add the LG G2 to their cart and get it delivered. I’ve confirmed this myself, Amazon UK has no issues sending the G2 to Finland.

Should you buy the G2, root it, and flash a stock ROM? I personally wouldn’t, I’d try to make the best of LG’s software, but I understand that I’m not exactly a bleeding edge Android user like some of you out there.

But yeah, given the choice between the Nexus 5 or the G2, I’d take the G2. Easy.
