If you’re one of the lucky ones with Android ar 5.1.1, then there’s a nice little update waiting for you in the ay Music app.
You’re now able to scroll through your sten Now, Recent aylists, Radio selections right on your watch.
The sten Now section includes the songs albums that you’ve recently played. The Recent aylists shows the newest songs albums you added given a thumbs-up to. The Radio feature brings up the stations auto-generated by ay Music.
For now, you can only take advantage of this if you have the tch Urbane or received the update to the Asus Zenwatch. If you have a Moto 360 or watch from another manufacturer, you’re just going to have to wait until it is updated to Android ar 5.1.
The story behind the story: Android ar 5.1 is a big step forward for the platform, makes it feel significantly more mature. The ay Music capability also serves as a showcase to other apps for how to build in the right type of functionality on the watch, making sure to not do too much on such a small screen. Now watch makers just need to step it up start kicking out those Android ar 5.1 updates.
