Cyanogen and Microsoft announced today that Microsoft apps and services will come integrated in the Cyanogen OS. Under the partnership, Cyanogen will integrate and distribute Microsoft’s consumer apps and services right out of the box, which means Microsoft’s productivity and messaging apps, as well as its cloud-based services, will come with every phone running the Cyanogen OS. We're talking about Bing, Skype, OneDrive, Office, OneNote, and Outlook.
How do Cyanogen’s diehard fans feel about the news? They’re not exactly thrilled. I gathered up a few tidbits from social media that depict exactly what Cyanogen’s users are thinking about the whole deal. The consensus? They’re really hoping this doesn’t mean a bunch of bloatware.
