Asus is taking another stab at the American smartphone market, showing off a peculiar video that looks sounds like a spy film trailer.

Asus’ Facebook page features a 10-second spot with glimpses of a new Zenfone that has some kind of dual-camera configuration on the back.

Blink you’ll miss it—it takes some quick reflexes just to pause on a spot where you can pick out any substantial details.

Asus posted #CES2015 #Zenfone with the video, so we should get to see what the company has up its sleeve at the s Vegas show in nuary. 

The HTC One M8 also sports a dual camera on the back, which gives the camera extra depth for manipulating the background when editing. th so many good smartphones coming out in 2014, Asus maybe pitching a killer camera as a differentiating factor. But with follow-ups to the other flagships no doubt ling in short order themselves Asus may find a tough road ahead. Nokia banked on flashy smartphone cameras too, remember.

The story behind the story: Asus launched a Zenfone line at CES last year, though it never really caught on in the U.S. The company clearly wants another shot is looking to separate itself from a crowded market with some kind of cool camera. It recently launched the Android ar-powered Zentch, so it’s only natural that the company’s hoping you’ll want to pair it up with a br new Zenfone.
