Smartphone manufacturers continue to push the limits for their high-end smartphones, offering as much as they can within relatively small packages.

And as technology improves, so does what’s available to the consumer. Oppo, for instance, will be breaking records with the upcoming Oppo Find X if TENAA data is any indicator. According to the regulatory body in China, the Find X will boast 10GB of RAM on the inside. If this handset does come to the market, that means it will be the first smartphone with that much RAM, which is certainly setting records.

The standard variant of the Find X will boast 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage, and it looks like Oppo is including the same amount of built-in storage with the 10GB of RAM option as well. Of course, the other standout feature of the Find X is the pop-out camera design, where the three cameras (24MP front-facing camera; 16MP and 20MP rear cameras) are hidden until activated.

The bad news for folks in the United States is that the Find X won’t be launching in your neck of the woods. Still, if we’re already at the point where smartphones can boast 10GB of RAM, we’ll likely see other manufacturers doing the same thing in the near future as well.
