The Nokia 9 PureView surfaced for the first time in leaked images just before the end of 2018, and now we may have an expected announcement date.

According to information shared by 91mobiles this week, Nokia and HMD Global are planning on officially announcing their newest smartphone, the Nokia 9 PureView, at the end of this month. Following that unveiling, the handset is expected to arrive in India sometime in February. If the two companies are planning on launching the handset outside of India, that information isn’t known right now, nor do we know how much the device will cost when it does launch.

What we’ve heard about the Nokia 9 PureView indicates it will be a high-end flagship model, though, which could hint at the price tag. The earlier rumors, along with the aforementioned leak, presented a device that has five separate cameras on the back, each of which will be capable of taking individual shots. That should allow for better low light photography, which, if that is indeed the case, Nokia will surely market quite a bit.

Other rumors of the upcoming Nokia 9 PureView hint at a 5.9-inch QHD+ display, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of built-in storage, and a 4150mAh battery. The Nokia 9 PureView is also going to feature Android 9 Pie out of the box as well, according to the rumor mill.
