The Nokia 8 has made appearances in multiple leaks already, with the handset slated to arrive very soon. The company responsible for the release, HMD Global, has now announced that “the next milestone for Nokia phones” will be shown off on the 16th of August.

While HMD doesn’t mention the Nokia 8 anywhere in the invite for the “exclusive gathering” in London, it’s pretty evident that the company is talking about the rumored flagship. The event will be held at 7:30PM local time.

The Nokia 8 is expected to be the company’s first foray into the dual-camera segment, joining the likes of Samsung, Apple, LG, Huawei, OnePlus, and a handful of others. The phone is also expected to be packing a 5.3-inch Quad HD display, the octa-core Snapdragon 835 chipset, 64/128GB of expandable storage, and Android 7.1 Nougat. As for the cameras, it is said that the company will use a 13MP dual-camera setup on the back, coupled with a 12MP front facing camera.

It is said that the Nokia 8 will be available in 4 and 6GB RAM configurations, although we don’t have confirmation as of yet. As it stands, however, it seems like this could be a highly publicized device, with HMD Global targeting the North American markets as well. Americans can watch the live event at 11:30AM (PT) and 2:30 PM (ET).
