Earlier this month we saw what the HTC-branded Nexus “Sailfish” smartphone, rumored to launch later this year, will feature specifications wise.

And now, thanks to a report from Android Police, we have a new set of specs to look over, but this time in relation to the rumored bigger Nexus smartphone, also said to be manufactured by HTC. According to unnamed sources, the “Marlin” will indeed be manufactured by HTC, and it will feature plenty of high-end specifications to show off with Android Nougat later this year.

The Marlin is said to feature a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display, a quad-core Qualcomm processor under the hood, with 4GB of RAM, and come in 32GB of 128GB variants. On the back of the Marlin is said to be a 12-megapixel camera, while the front-facing camera is said to be 8MP. The device is said to boast a 3450mAh battery, a USB Type-C port, “bottom-firing speakers,” and it will also offer support for Bluetooth 4.2.

As a comparison, the smaller Sailfish handset is said to feature a 5-inch 1080p display. It will be powered by a quad-core 64-bit chipset clocked at 2GHz, which likely means we are looking at a lower clocked Snapdragon 820 here. It will also sport 32GB of internal storage, 4GB RAM, a USB Type-C port, and a 2770mAh battery.

What do you think of the rumored Marlin specs?
