HTC launched the U11 earlier this year, and in the United States it was made available in blue, silver, and black.

But the company was never shy in exposing the other color variant, a brilliant red, while showing off its latest flagship handset. As a result, some folks in the United States have apparently been requesting that the red option be made available in the U.S., too, and HTC has listened. As first noticed by SlashGear, HTC USA’s official Twitter account has been teasing the red U11’s arrival in the U.S. for a few days now.

As of June 18, the company shared an image of the red smartphone with a big number two next to it. The company has been teasing the big reveal for a few days now, and with only two days to go it looks like the U11 in that red finish will arrive on Tuesday, June 20.

Unfortunately the tweets don’t give us a lot to go on, so it’s unknown at this point whether or not HTC will actually launch the red U11 on Tuesday, making it available to buy for potential customers, or if the handset will simply be going up for pre-order. Or maybe it won’t be any of those things and we’ll just learn of a date in the future where one of those things will happen.

Either way, we’ll know more on Tuesday. Who’s excited about getting their hands on that red finish?
