HTC E9p leak

Earlier in March, a device known as the “One E9” broke cover as it went through certification in China. Now, the device has allegedly made its way to the surface again.

As revealed by serial leaker @upleaks,” the device in question this time is reportedly called the “E9p (A55),” and it certainly looks quite a bit like the One E9 that leaked out earlier in March. The device shares the distinctive color scheme, for one, as well as the same One M9-inspired front aesthetic. (whitestallion) The back of the handset still sports that large, round camera near the top, but this image seems to indicate that the handset will have a glossy plastic back panel.

Unfortunately, any hard facts about the device are still up-in-the-air at this point, as HTC has not made the device official by any means just yet. However, the leak earlier this month did reveal that the handset in question could sport a 5.5-inch 2560×1440 display, an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor under the hood, with a 20MP camera on the back. On the front, there’s either a 13-megapixel or UltraPixel camera, and it’s said to feature 3GB of RAM with 32GB of built-in storage. It will more than likely be running Android 5.0 out of the box.

Interestingly enough, this leak comes just after leaks of the One M9+ found their way out of the Rumor Mill, and right as HTC is sending out press invites for another event to launch something new.

What do you think of the E9 so far?
