In late September, a device render of an HTC-branded handset destined for Sprint found its way online, quickly becoming known as the “HTC Bolt.”

It’s been quiet on that front as of late, but now, thanks to VentureBeat, we have what appears to be the Bolt caught out in the real world. The report states that the handset is known internally as the “Acadia,” and that the handset will feature 3GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, along with a microSD card for expandable storage.

It’s also apparently missing a 3.5mm headphone jack. This is something that Motorola already showcased in its latest flagships, and, obviously, the latest iPhones don’t feature the jack, either. Looks like HTC is getting in on the design fun, too.

The HTC Bolt will have the company’s proprietary Sense user interface atop Android, and it will also have HTC’s BoomSound audio-enhancing technology, too — but only if you listen to audio with headphones plugged in. There’s a USB Type-C port, a single speaker on the bottom, and a fingerprint reader, too.

Finally, the camera on the back is said to be an 18-megapixel shooter with an f/2.0 lens, and 4K video recording capability. The camera on the front is reportedly an 8MP camera.

Is the Bolt something you are looking forward to?
