Call of Duty mobile

Jumping on the battle royale craze, Activision is out with Call of Duty Mobile. It is similar to PUBG and Fortnite, though far more polished than them in terms of graphics and gameplay. Right now, the game is in closed beta which means it is not available for everyone to download from Google Play.

If you want to jump in on the Call of Duty Mobile craze and want to see exactly how the game is better than PUBG, follow our guide below to know how you can install the game on your phone right away. You will have to sideload the game on your Android device manually. This might not be as simple as downloading the game from Google Play but its not rocket science either. You just have to transfer a few files to your Android device.

It is unclear as to what all devices Call of Duty Mobile supports right now. The game worked just fine on my Poco F1 so it should presumably work just fine on other Snapdragon 845 and Snapdragon 855-powered devices as well.

Install Call of Duty Mobile on Your Android Device

Step 1: Download Call of Duty Mobile APK using this link.

Follow this link to download the download Call of Duty Mobile Obb data on your phone. Since the size is around 1.4 GB, it is strongly recommended that you use a speedy Wi-Fi network for downloading the file.

You can also download the file on your laptop or computer and then transfer it to your phone. You have to exact the obb file from the zip file that you download.

Make sure to transfer the APK and the Obb file to the internal storage of your Android phone.

Step 2: Next, using any file manager app, navigate to Internal Storage -> Android -> obb. Here create a folder with the following name:

“com.activision.callofdutyshooter”

Step 3: Again, using the File Manager app, copy the Obb file  —main.199.com.activision.callofduty.shooter.obb — to the folder that you created in the previous step.

So, you move the file ‘main.199.com.activision.callofduty.shooter.obb’ inside the folder Storage -> Android -> obb -> com.activision.callofdutyshooter.
