It has been widely speculated that BlackBerry will finally be ditching its own BB10 operating system, and opting for Android for its next flagship dubbed Venice.

Last month, Evan Blass aka evleaks had published a leaked image, which showcased what the handset will look like.

evleaks may have retired, but he continues to leak stuff. He is back once again with new pictures of BlackBerry Venice. The first leaked image showcases the slider keyboard.

As we can see above, the device appears to have a curved display, with a microUSB port and headphone jack on the bottom. The dotted area below the display is more than likely a front-facing speaker.

The second image confirms Venice will run Google Services so it will come pre-installed with Google Play Store, a mail app, an app to transfer data and ability to stream content via Chromecast.

evleaks also claims that the Android-powered slider will be released in November on all four major carriers in the U.S.

According to rumors, BlackBerry Venice will come with a 5.4 QHD LDC screen and Snapdragon 808 with 3GB RAM.

Based on what we’ve seen so far, BlackBerry appears to have a nice looking Android-based smartphone coming down the pipe.
