Straight from the horse’s mouth: Android and Chrome OS will not merge, at least not yet

Reuters says more in one sentence than I can:

“Google’s Chrome and Android operating systems will remain separate products but could have more overlap, Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt said, a week after the two came under a single boss.”

I’m still trying to collect my thoughts about Andy Rubin leaving the Android project, but I haven’t had a moment to myself to really look into the crystal ball and predict what’s going to happen next.
